During our Christmas Markets and longer running events we host education tours for local school children and community groups.

The guided tours entertain children as they learn more about the language, food and the various cultures of our traders. Igniting imaginations and stimulating minds, tours are a wonderful tool for the educational development of future generations, making learning fun. We have also created the ‘Education Passport’, a document drawing on the curriculum full of fun facts, worksheets and information about the market that we use to support tours.

On average 1,500 children or educational groups visit our Continental and Christmas Markets annually on these organised tours. The wonderful feedback we get in the form of pictures and letters is what makes the effort all worth while.
